Active Drop
Each week, CS2 players with Prime Status have the opportunity to receive a weekly drop by ranking up in casual, competitive, wingman, or other official game modes. These drops may include skins, graffiti, or weapon cases, depending on the current loot pool. Staying active and ranking up consistently gives you the best chance of earning valuable rewards.
Prime Drops
Prime Drops are the standard weekly rewards available to players with Prime Status. These drops include:
- Weapon cases that are part of the active drop pool
- Skins from current collections
- Graffiti and other cosmetic items
The specific weapon case available in Prime Drops can change over time based on updates and game events. Regular play ensures you don’t miss out on these rotating rewards.
Rare Cases
Rare Cases are older weapon cases that are no longer part of the active drop pool but still have a very low chance of appearing as a weekly drop. These cases are much harder to come by and are often highly valued in the marketplace.
- Typically have a drop chance of around one percent or less
- Include legacy skins from previous operations or updates
- Highly prized by traders because of their rarity and unique items
If you happen to receive a Rare Case in your weekly drop, it's considered a lucky and valuable find.
Discontinued Cases
Discontinued Cases are weapon cases that have been completely removed from all drop pools. These cases are no longer obtainable through gameplay and were often tied to past operations or specific time-limited events.
- Not available through Prime or rare drop pools
- Can only be acquired through trading or the Steam Market
- Often increase in value due to their limited availability and historical significance
These cases represent a piece of CS2 history and are favored by longtime players and collectors.
